Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct therapy services, including articulation, language intervention, fluency, and pragmatic skills, in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure the integration of speech and language goals within the student's overall academic program.
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and IEP documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding speech and language goals, objectives, and accommodations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state license VA
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of various speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
